Surf and Turf Mother's Day Meal Box


We are excited to announce that we’ve collaborated with our dear friends at Cumbrae's for this week’s meal box! This three-course Mother's Day menu is a collaboration by Stock T.C's Head Chef Chris Martell and Cumbrae's Executive Chef Jerry Meneses and features a mixture of components exclusive to Cumbrae's and Stock T.C Grocer. Pair it with our wine recommendations.

 This meal box includes:

  • Warm Caesar Salad (with caesar dressing, lardons, Parmigiano Reggiano, croutons)
  • Cumbrae's-sourced 8 oz Beef Tenderloin
  • Nova Scotia lobster (sous vide with lemon-lobster compound butter)
  • Roasted Butternut Squash and Creamer Potatoes
  • Sauteed or Grilled Asparagus
  • Raspberry Charlotte cake

This meal box is recommended for 2 people and requires minimal preparation. Instructions provided. Please note that we are not a nut-free facility, therefore cross-contamination may occur. For any dietary restrictions, please email us at or call us at (416) 489 1020.


Warm Caesar Salad 

  • Heat pan or grill on medium-high heat
  • Grill or pan-sear romaine hearts for 30-60 seconds until slight caramelization
  • Place romaine hearts on plate and top with lardons, croutons, Caesar dressing and Parmigiano Reggiano

Cumbrae's- sourced 8 oz beef tenderloin (already sous-vide to medium-rare)

  • Remove beef tenderloin from plastic bag
  • Heat pan or grill to high heat
  • Sear beef tenderloin, 1-2 minutes per side
  • Let rest for 7 minutes
  • Serve and enjoy

Nova Scotia lobster (with lemon-lobster compound butter)

  • Remove lobster from plastic bag
  • Preheat oven to 425F
  • Bake lobster for 12 minutes
  • Remove oven and top with the compound butter
  • Serve and enjoy

Roasted butternut squash and creamer potatoes (pre-steamed)

  • Season with olive oil, salt and pepper
  • Preheat oven to 425F
  • Roast for 10-15 minutes, until golden brown
  • Serve and enjoy

Sauteed or grilled asparagus

  • Preheat pan or grill to medium-high heat
  • Season asparagus with olive oil, salt and pepper
  • Sautee asparagus in a pan with a little olive oil for 4-5 minutes or grill for about 3-4 minutes.
